We interviewed a community of successful innovators and leaders from several fields to share their experiences and insights. Participants have distinguished themselves in artistic endeavors, academic and business management, as university faculty, as builders and investors of startups, in technical positions, and as leaders in government organizations. The cohort of participants have received a range of prestigious awards and elected memberships for their contributions. These include: Nobel prize, Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business, MacArthur ‘Genius’, IRI medal, National Medal of Technology and Innovation, Technology Review’s 35 under 35, TED prize, NAE membership, AAAS fellowship, and various other awards and recognitions for innovation.
